Market NewsBIOVIA: Atlante debuts in Germany with a new brand of organic products
Atlante is entering the German market with BIOVIA, its first brand to be marketed in Germany. The launch opens up a new export market for the company, with a range of organic products that combine Mediterranean ingredients and specialities with a visual identity designed to make choosing them on the shelf simple and straightforward.
The range includes dried and ready-to-use pulses, couscous, tomatoes, pestos, extra virgin olive oil and antipasti. It also features black sesame seeds and three varieties of organic sliced bread: wholemeal, white and spelt. These products are designed for everyday cooking, from more elaborate dishes to quick and easy meals.

A brand that makes organic easier to choose
BIOVIA was developed around one idea: to make choosing organic products easier. In a market overflowing with products, certifications and messages, the brand focuses on clarity to help consumers find their way. Colours, product names and the way the categories are organised all work together to make the range easy to read and recognisable on the shelves.
The brand communication style also follows this approach: direct, contemporary and in tune with the shopping habits of consumers. BIOVIA offers products for everyday cooking without requiring consumers to be familiar with the codes of the organic sector or to spend more time choosing. That is the essence of the promise «Bio. Einfach klar.»: to understand what you’re looking at at first glance, to choose with confidence, and to incorporate organic products into your everyday life.
«Germany is one of the main European organic market and it represents a new stage Atlante’s international growth», says Marcello Nanni, Country Manager Germany di Atlante. «BIOVIA marks our commercial entry into the country. That is why we have developed a dedicated selection, bringing Mediterranean-inspired organic products to the German market.
A structure dedicated to the German market
The launch is supported by Atlante’s operating model: a network of selected manufacturers, the ability to develop solutions tailored to customers’ needs, and a warehouse in Bavaria. This structure enables us to supply the market directly from Germany, even for smaller orders.
«Each project starts from consumers’ listening», continues Nanni. «We draw on our network of manufacturers to identify the most suitable solution, taking into account quality, product specifications, price and logistics. We are therefore able to meet the needs of both large retail chains and customers who require smaller quantities and greater flexibility. Our aim is to contribute to the development of their projects, offering ideas as well as products».
«Entering the German market is an important step in our export strategy,” says Guido Lanzarini, Atlante’s Export Business Unit Director. «With BIOVIA, we are launching a brand developed specifically for this market: we have worked on the composition of the range, as well as on an identity that makes it clear and recognisable on the shelves. The aim is to build strong relationships with our German partners by combining our expertise in product development with a structure capable of meeting their needs».
With BIOVIA Atlante adds Germany to its export markets and launches a project that combines brand development, product expertise and a dedicated sales and logistics structure.
