Atlante presents its second Sustainability Report

Conscious growth, driven by concrete goals and shared responsibility

Atlante has published its second Sustainability Report, relating to the year 2024. The document marks a further step in the company’s journey toward increasingly conscious, structured and responsible growth, building on the work initiated with the first report.

“This Report stems from the desire to share not only the results achieved, but also the vision that guides us and the commitment we demonstrate every day to help build a more balanced future,” writes Natasha Linhart, Founder and CEO of Atlante, in her letter to stakeholders.

For Atlante, being a global partner in food retail means taking responsibility beyond business performance alone. It means questioning the impact of its choices, acting with care, and investing in practices capable of generating value for people, communities and the environment.

A long-term sustainability strategy

Over the past year, Atlante has continued to shape a sustainability strategy based on concrete and measurable objectives, guided by a medium- to long-term vision. The Sustainability Report serves as the tool through which the company transparently reports on the actions undertaken and the progress made along its ESG journey.

“We have defined a strategy that looks to both the present and the future,” Linhart emphasises, “with the awareness that every decision has an impact that must be considered responsibly.”

The report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, confirming Atlante’s commitment to a rigorous, comparable and reliable approach to sustainability performance reporting.

People as a strategic driver

People remain a central priority. Atlante has strengthened its professional development, wellbeing and inclusion programmes, fostering a corporate culture focused on growth, respect and equal opportunities.

“We firmly believe that a fair and stimulating working environment is essential to attract, retain and develop talent,” says Linhart, reaffirming the key role of skills development and continuous learning in ensuring the company’s long-term strength.

Supply chain, local engagement and environmental responsibility

Atlante has further consolidated its commitment across the entire supply chain, strengthening ties with local communities and collaborating with suppliers who share common values and high ethical and environmental standards.

From an environmental perspective, the company is implementing concrete measures to reduce its footprint: from the use of renewable energy and more sustainable packaging solutions to responsible water management and the reduction of food waste. Animal welfare also continues to play a central role in Atlante’s policies throughout the entire value chain.

Looking ahead, together with stakeholders

The Sustainability Report does not represent a destination, but rather a milestone in an ongoing journey. “Looking to the future, we aim to further strengthen dialogue with our stakeholders,” continues Linhart, “to better understand their expectations and jointly develop effective and long-lasting solutions.”

Over the coming year, Atlante will work towards defining new, even more ambitious goals, with a medium-term perspective focused on reinforcing the company’s contribution to sustainable development.

“Your contribution will be essential for us to continue evolving with awareness,” Linhart concludes, inviting stakeholders and partners to consult the Sustainability Report to explore initiatives, challenges and future goals in greater depth.
