Bringing a Taste of Italy to Barcode Festival: Ambo Spritz Makes a Splash with the Grocery Industry

Last week, the UK grocery sector came together at Kenwood House for Barcode Festival 2026. An incredible day of music, networking, and industry solidarity in support of GroceryAid. For the team at Atlante, it was also the perfect summer stage to showcase our newest brand innovation: Ambo Spritz.

As a business passionate about bringing authentic European food and drink trends to the UK market, we were thrilled to see how the trade reacted to Ambo’s vibrant personality and premium Italian heritage.

Vibrant Energy on the Festival Grounds

Our mission for the Ambo Spritz stand was simple: bring a slice of the Italian aperitivo culture straight to the festival. Sporting our signature orange, yellow, peach and green striped branding, our stand quickly became a hub of energy, serving up chilled samples to refreshing crowds between headline sets from the Scissor Sisters and Wet Leg.

With hundreds of retail buyers and commercial decision-makers in attendance, Barcode offers a unique opportunity to get real-time feedback and the reception to the drinks was absolutely incredible. The standout highlight of our day was the overwhelming praise from attendees, with so many people stopping by to tell us just how delicious the spritz was and how much they loved the flavour profile. The eye-catching branding combined with a genuinely fantastic product proved to be a winning formula on a warm summer afternoon.
